The Lancaster County Coroner’s Office on Saturday identified the two people who died in a head-on collision Friday night in West Lampeter Township .
Around 9:40 p.m., West Lampeter Township Police were dispatched to Lampeter Road and Paramount Avenue for a head-on crash involving a Honda Civic and Nissan sedan.
A man — Luke Debruin, 25, of Lancaster — and woman — Terry Thomas, 64, of Hamburg — were both pronounced dead at the scene, the coroner’s office said.
Debruin was driving the Honda while Thomas was a passenger in the Nissan. A male and female who were also in the Nissan were taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The coroner’s report did not include Debruin’s or Thomas’ cause and manner of death. The events leading up to the crash remain unclear.
