BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - The Bowling Green Police have made an arrest after a shooting threat started to circulate on social media Thursday night.
According to Public Information Office Ronnie Ward, officers have made an arrest.
WBKO News received viewer tips about the threat that was a post on Reddit. The suspect said, “On Black Friday I’m shooting up the greenwood mall I recommend not going bc it will be a blood bath. I’m killing everyone in site. Thank you and good riddance.”
Ward confirmed to WBKO News around 1:45a.m. Friday a person was in custody.
Jay Gill, 33, of Bowling Green is facing a number of charges including 2nd Degree Terrorist Threatening.
