The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office has identified the person whose body was found Thursday beneath the Smithfield Street Bridge in Downtown Pittsburgh.
Her name was Robin Brown and she was described as a white woman who was 47 years old. A news release from the medical examiner did not list an address or hometown for her.
Allegheny County 911 dispatchers received a call about the body at 1:20 p.m. Thanksgiving Day, and she was pronounced dead 16 minutes later, the news release said.
The medical examiner also did not list a cause or manner of her death.
Pittsburgh police were investigating.
