A woman has been jailed after she was spotted having sex outside a busy shopping centre in broad daylight . Rachel Hardy-Gent, who had her breasts exposed and naked from the waist down, was seen by a delivery driver engaging in the intimate act in Whitley Bay. ‌

A court heard that the pair were in full view of passers-by and those using Park View Shopping Centre, so the police were called. Hardy-Gent was arrested and later found to be carrying a broken wine bottle neck in her bra, prosecutors said. ‌
