More rain and cold temperatures are in store for the beginning of the work week, before a small break by mid week.

It was a soggy morning across north Alabama, but the rain will start to push out as we head into the afternoon, but heavy cloud coverage and chilly temperatures will make for a dreary Sunday. Highs only hit the upper 40s.

Monday morning will start off cold, with out-the-door temperatures in the upper 20s and low 30s, but wind chill values in the teens. Widespread rain looks to move in by the afternoon, and stick around for the rest of the day and into Tuesday morning. Highs warm to the upper 40s.
