CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Browns fell victim to their own mistakes once again as they lost at home to the 49ers on Sunday, 26-8 .
Shedeur Sanders had some good moments in his second career start, completing 16 of 25 passes for 149 yards and a touchdown. But he and the Browns were shut out in the second half.
The story of the game, however, was the litany of mistakes the special teams made. A long punt return by 49ers receiver Skyy Moore and a muffed punt by Browns rookie receiver Gage Larvadain led to 13 San Francisco points.
