Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy made a bizarre “business decision” that proved costly in the team’s ugly home loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.

The Browns gave Shedeur Sanders little chance against the 49ers, from terrible pass protection to mind-numbing mistakes like Malachi Corley stepping out of bounds at the five-yard line on a kickoff that cost Cleveland 35 yards in field position.

Among the other mistakes: How about Jerry Jeudy “jogging” on a deep ball from Shedeur Sanders that could have led to an easy touchdown?

“Jeudy has been showing a lack of effort in recent weeks,” wrote Dov Kleiman.

Jerry Jeudy, in his second season with the Browns, finished the day with only three catches for 26 yards, per ESPN.
