DALLAS — One person was killed and three others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash Sunday evening in Uptown Dallas, authorities said. One person was also arrested, police announced.
Dallas Fire-Rescue units were dispatched at 5:17 p.m. after multiple 911 calls reported a crash involving two vehicles, with at least one overturned at the intersection of Turtle Creek Boulevard and Gillespie Street. Fire officials said a person was reported trapped inside a vehicle, but the first-arriving truck company was able to extricate that individual before the department’s urban search and rescue team arrived.
Dallas Fire-Rescue said four people were transported from the scene to area hospitals. One of those patients, later identified by the Dallas County Medical Examiners Office as Emma Hackney, 2
