LAGO VISTA, Texas — The city of Lago Vista is asking some residents to boil their water after a water plant went offline Sunday night.
In an update on Tuesday, the city said its water system is "fully operational," and the boil water notice is set to be lifted sometime in the morning. The city is also asking residents to conserve water while repairs are underway to a water main transmission.
The notice is currently impacting residents who live south of Dawn Drive as contractors work to excavate an area to make repairs. It was issued "out of an abundance of caution following a temporary loss of pressure within the municipal water distribution systems," according to the city's Public Works Department.
