LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
A child has died after a head-on car crash in Louisville's Iroquois neighborhood.
It happened Sunday afternoon on Taylor Boulevard.
According to police, a car driving at "a high rate of speed" near the high school ran off the road and hit a utility pole.
The car then crossed traffic and hit another car head-on. That car then hit a third car that was parked.

A woman and girl were taken to the hospital. The child later died.
The driver of the first car, who is a juvenile, and a passenger fled the scene.
The juvenile was later taken into custody, and charges are pending.
Metro Councilwoman Betsy Ruhe says Taylor Boulevard has become a dangerous hotspot for speeding.
