HOPE – If you’re a senior at a high school in Hempstead County, this is your moment. The first deadline for the Hempstead Guarantee is approaching fast, and you do not want to miss it.

The Hempstead Guarantee Scholarship from the University of Arkansas Hope–Texarkana covers your entire first year of college. That’s right, you can attend UAHT in your first year at no cost. Tuition, fees, and book rentals are covered after any financial aid you receive.

The clock is moving. Your first major step is due January 31, 2026.

How to claim your free year:

Complete the UAHT application for admission by January 31.

Complete the State of Arkansas Scholarship application by May 1.

Graduate from a high school in Hempstead County.

Complete the FAFSA and submit all financial aid documents by May 3
