The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested Shafat Ahmad Shungloo, a resident of Hawal currently staying in Ishber Nishat, on Monday in connection with the high-profile 1989 kidnapping of Rubaiya Sayeed case. Shungloo, the son of Saif-ud-Din, was taken into custody at Police Station Nishat as part of the ongoing investigation and trial proceedings that have continued for over three decades.
