In the Seahawks' first shutout since 2015, the defense held Minnesota to just 162 total yards and forced five turnovers. The Rams had a one-game advantage entering Sunday, but were upset by the upstart Carolina Panthers in a shootout.
The win for Seattle and loss for LA puts both teams at 9-3 on the season, with the San Francisco 49ers right on their heels at 9-4. The two teams have one more matchup on the schedule in Seattle on Dec. 18.
