For the New York Mets, the hunt for power is on. With Brandon Nimmo traded to Texas for Marcus Semien and Pete Alonso entering free agency, Steve Cohen’s squad is looking pretty solid. The Mets want a bat that can swing the balance in tight playoff races, and one name keeps popping up: Kyle Schwarber, who’s also received interest from the Orioles.

Schwarber, turning 33 in March, is coming off a monster season with the Phillies. He’s hit a career-high 56 homers while slashing .240/.365/.563 across all 162 games.
