Amanda Seyfried will be honored with the Desert Palm Achievement Award, Actress at the Palm Springs International Film Awards , which will take place on Jan. 3 at the Palm Springs Convention Center. The festival will run from Jan. 2 to Jan. 12.

Seyfried will receive the award for her performance as Ann Lee in Mona Fastvold’s “The Testament of Ann Lee.”

“In ‘The Testament of Ann Lee,’ Amanda Seyfried delivers a masterful performance — one that is haunting in its emotional intensity and profoundly human in its truth,” said festival chairman Nachhattar Singh Chandi in a statement. “Across her remarkable career, she has continued to evolve, take bold risks, and elevate every story she inhabits. We are honored to present her with the Desert Palm Achievement Award, Actress.”
