SEATTLE — Seattle police are investigating after a man was shot and killed inside a hookah lounge in the Chinatown International District (CID) Monday morning.
Officers responded to a reported shooting at a hookah lounge in the 400 block of Rainier Avenue South just before 8 a.m. Monday, a Seattle Police Department (SPD) spokesperson told KING 5. Police did not specify the name of the hookah lounge, but Google Maps lists an Evangadi hookah lounge as being located at 419 Rainier Avenue South.
Police say the victim was a man in his 30s who was shot once and taken to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition. He died at the hospital, SPD said. The Seattle Fire Department told KING 5 it treated "an approximately 45-year-old male" at the scene.
