A 50-year-old man was ordered to serve three years of “zero tolerance” probation for stealing equipment from two lawn and landscaping vehicles while they were parked in Warren and Sterling Heights for jobs, court records say.

Brent A. Glass Jr. of Detroit received the sentence last Wednesday from Macomb County Circuit Judge James Maceroni in Mount Clemens after pleading no contest to three counts for two incidents in April 2023 and April 2024 in Warren and one incident in April 2024 in Sterling Heights on the same day one of the Warren incidents.

Glass was ordered to pay $4,900 in restitution to Red’s Landscaping and $1,000 in restitution to Lucia Landscaping for which he was to be placed on a payment plan, records say. He also must serve the
