[URBANDALE, Iowa] — Two leaders of the Iowa Board of Regents are stepping down from their roles.

Board President Sherry Bates announced she will leave the board effective December 4. President Pro Tem Greta Rouse will also step down from her leadership role that day but will remain on the board through 2027.

The board has scheduled a special meeting on Wednesday to elect new leaders.
