TOLEDO, Ohio — A Lucas County grand jury on Monday indicted two men for murder in the Nov. 2 shooting death of 19-year-old Jasmine Queen in south Toledo.
Marvin Pettaway, 18, and Marshaun Purley, 18, were indicted Monday on multiple charges. Pettaway was arrested Nov. 20, and police issued a murder warrant for Purley the same day.
Pettaway and Purley were each indicted on the following charges:
one count of aggravated murder
two counts of murder
three counts of attempted murder
nine counts of felonious assault
one count of discharging a firearm on or near prohibited premises
one count of having weapons under disability
Queen was found shot in the early morning hours of Nov. 2 at a business plaza near the intersection of Hill Avenue and Reynolds Road and later died at the hospita
