BBC1 special A Mary Berry Christmas sees the beloved cook in her 90th year alongside a host of famous faces including Gladiator Nitro

Mary Berry is thrilled to be cooking with "old and new friends" this Christmas , marking her 90th year in style.

For the BBC1 special, she will be joined by Gavin and Stacey star Alison Steadman , Radio 2 presenter Zoe Ball and Gladiator Harry Aikines-Aryeetey for A Mary Berry Christmas.

Mary and Alison have previously collaborated when the actress participated in the Great Sport Relief Bake Off for the BBC in 2016.

At that time, she confessed to being a nervous cook, stating: "It was exciting, but I was very nervous. Just making a cup of tea in a strange kitchen feels like a challenge, so my heart was racing."
