GREENSBORO, N.C. — Burlington police arrested a 44-year-old man Monday on multiple felony warrants and additional charges including assaulting a law enforcement officer after a four-hour-long standoff at a home.

Officers attempted to serve felony arrest warrants on Lashawn Warren Crump at 828 Cornwallis Drive related to multiple property crimes. During the arrest, Crump was also charged with resisting, delaying and obstructing law enforcement and assault on a law enforcement officer, police said.

The Alamance County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the operation, and officers remained at the scene for about four hours. Bond information was not immediately available.
