PUNTA GORDA, Fla. ( WWSB ) - On Nov. 29, the Punta Gorda Police Department’s (PGPD) Special Operations Section, with assistance from patrol officers, executed a search warrant at 525 E. Helen Ave. in Punta Gorda.

Officers found various narcotics, including methamphetamine, throughout the residence.

Five people were arrested during the search. Daniel O’Brien, 45, Jason Millhouse, 40, and Sydney Prewitt, 29, were charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Daniel Van De Moortel, 39, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, and Courtney Latrella, 40, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of probation.
