MVP Explains Why He Dislikes Intergender Wrestling
Professional wrestler MVP has voiced a strong opposition to intergender wrestling, citing his background in combat sports and a belief in biological differences as his primary reasons. Speaking on his podcast, MVP argued that the concept breaks the suspension of disbelief required for his preferred style of “simulated combat.”
“I am not a fan of intergender wrestling. I don’t like it,” MVP stated. “I approach wrestling from the simulated combat mindset… You don’t have intergender Boxing. Don’t have intergender MMA, because biology matters.”
MVP attributed the popularity of intergender matches to a generational shift influenced by video games, where character size and gender do not determine the outcome of a fight.
