We’re entering into a wet weather pattern and we could see some beneficial rains from two different systems this week. The other thing we’re up against is below normal temps. We’re only managing 50s for highs and a few nights around freezing.

In the meantime, we’re expecting a cloudy and wet overnight period. Rain is likely and rainfall could be rather generous for some. We expect periods of moderate to heavy rain and some areas could see 1 to 2 inch rainfall, especially across Southeast Alabama. This would be mainly south of the I-85 corridor. The rain departs early but the clouds linger most of Tuesday. A cold northwesterly winds kicks in and temps drop through the 40s most of the day.
