(AP) - A forty-foot tree, harvested Monday from a Bellevue family, will be the centerpiece of the 18th Annual Festival of Lights at Lambeau Field this weekend. The tree will be in Harlan Plaza.

“We are cutting down my tree so I can donate it to Lambeau Field,” said Laura Vanboxel.

For Laura Vanboxel, she knew it was time to cut down her tree. The memories she’d shared with her children decorating it have long since gone.

“The kids and I have decorated the yard forever. The tree got too big to decorate the kids moved off to college and stuff,” said Vanboxel.

Submitting the story about her tree to the packers, Vanboxel said officials told her the tree had been chosen.

“I sent her a story about the tree and a week later Bud called and said, ‘can I come look at your tree’ and I said sure,
