Huntsville Police said on Monday that an officer previously charged with driving under the influence has since been terminated.

Scott Hartman was arrested earlier in September on DUI charges following a two-vehicle crash. The wreck happened on Church Street and Wheeler Ave. on Sept. 6.

Authorities say one driver had minor injuries in the wreck and had to be taken to the hospital for treatment. Investigators say Hartman showed signs of impairment following the wreck.
