One click can score you a big Cyber Monday deal, but it’s important to watch out for those cyber grinches, trying to steal your holiday cheer and joy.
“Not only is it popular and convenient for those trying to catch a Cyber Monday bargain, it is also very popular with criminals who may be looking to scam unsuspecting consumers,” said Ragina Ali, manager of public and government affairs for AAA.
Scammers commonly lure buyers with messages that include links to sites offering unusually low prices.
“Many scammers will list deals that are exceptionally low. They will also use websites that mimic legitimate retailers,”
