ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Wreaths Across America is asking for help to ensure veterans buried at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery are honored this holiday season.
The organization works each year to place wreaths on the 200,000 graves at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. As of Monday, only about 22,000 wreaths have been donated, with the deadline for donations on Tuesday.
Donating $17 to Missouri-Honor.com ensures a veteran’s grave will have a wreath on Christmas morning. The live fir wreaths are handmade and tax-deductible.
The order deadline is Tuesday night by midnight. Wreaths will be placed on December 13.
