The Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the bicyclist killed in a Friday, Nov. 28, crash on Mount Rose Highway as James Booth, 42, of Lafayette, California.
Booth was pronounced dead at the scene. The medical examiner listed the manner of death as accidental and said the cause was multiple blunt force injuries from an automobile-bicyclist collision.
Nevada State Police said the crash was reported around 12:24 p.m. on Mount Rose Highway between Douglas Fir and Sunridge drives.
The collision shut down both lanes between Reno and Incline Village for more than three hours during the Thanksgiving weekend.
No additional details were released.
