Culinary Class Wars are set to resume on Netflix .

The first season of the Korean cooking competition series was a major streaming hit, per Netflix, which is dropping the second on December 16. Netflix handed it a renewal in October.

Culinary Class Wars was the first Korean unscripted series to top Netflix’s Global Top 10 (Non-English TV) list for three consecutive weeks, and was named “the most beloved series among Korean viewers” in Gallup Korea’s September 2024 survey, as Netflix noted. The streamer claims the show has been central in a revitalization of Soeul’s dining scene.

The series sees ‘Black Spoon’ hidden masters rise from the underground to face off against Korea’s top ‘White Spoon’ star chefs in various intense kitchen challenges.
