GREENUP COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) - A new superintendent was chosen Monday for Greenup County Schools.
Former Superintendent Steve Hall was appointed as interim superintendent to replace Traysea Moresea, according to Greenup County Board of Education Attorney Jim Lyon.
He said Moresea’s next position will be determined by Hall.
Moresea was demoted and a majority of the school board resigned last month after text messages between Moresea and some board members that were “derogatory of special needs children in the district.”
