NEW YORK CITY (WABC) -- It's the most wonderful time of the year, but it can also be the most expensive.
With many looking for budget-friendly ways to celebrate the holidays, our ongoing series Your Money, Your Savings, highlights ways to save on a Christmas tree.
This year, there will be plenty of inventory.
According to the Real Christmas Tree Board, 84 percent of growers say they anticipate no increase in wholesale prices.
"The more trees we have in the market that typically means better opportunities for a reasonable price or for a lower price," Marsha Gray, with the Real Christmas Tree Board, said.
A good chunk of trees in the area are imported from the North and are exempt from tariffs.
