HOUSTON – Early voting starts Monday, Dec. 1, for the Dec. 13 joint runoff elections in Harris County Clerk’s Office.
The Harris County Clerk’s Office is encouraging voters to take advantage of the early voting period to help avoid long lines.
Voters can cast their ballots in person at any vote center in Harris County.
What’s on the ballot
A number of races are on the ballot , including the at‑large seat for Houston City Council Position 4 and a vacancy for a trustee seat at Houston Community College (HCC), among others.
When and where to vote
During early voting, at least 30 vote centers will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., except on Sunday, Dec. 7, when hours will be noon to 7 p.m.
On Election Day, at least 50 vote centers across Harris County will be open from 7 a.m. to 7
