LUFKIN, Texas (KLTV) - The City of Lufkin is launching into the Christmas season with activities planned for every day of the week as they kick off “Christmas in the Pines.”
Tara Hendrix, the director of tourism and marketing with the city, said the first week of December has long marked the beginning of festive holiday celebration for the city, with this year being no exception.
“Sometimes people say there’s nothing to do in Lufkin. Well, this week proves that that’s a lie,” Hendrix said. “There is so much to do in Lufkin this week. There’s no way you could do it all.”
Tuesday : Angelina College is having their 11th annual Holiday, Hope and Honor Concert. The event begins at 7 p.m. and continues until 9 p.m. at the Temple Theater.
Wednesday : The Lufkin Rotary Club’s 69th Annual Waf
