A wanted felon was arrested in Mason County on Friday after he allegedly burglarized his sister’s home before spraying her with bear mace in Tacoma.
The man is accused of committing the burglary and assault over an argument about money. Tacoma Police Department requested the assistance of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office in his arrest, the office wrote on Facebook. The man had warrants out of Mason County Superior Court and from the Washington Department of Corrections for escape from community custody.
A deputy later found the man in his vehicle in the Timberlakes Community.
“The suspect attempted to get away by driving through a backyard of a nearby residence, but the quick thinking of the Deputy prevented the suspect’s escape, by blocking the vehicle’s path then pinning the vehicle
