SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - The Notre Dame men’s basketball team returns home this week after going 1-2 at the Players Era Festival in Las Vegas.
The Irish lost both games by 10 points each, falling to Kansas, now ranked 21st in the country, and Houston, which is ranked in the top 10. Notre Dame picked up its lone tournament win over Rutgers from the Big Ten Conference.
“We still got a ways to go. I’ve been around teams that have been OK in November and gotten really good by the end of the year. I’ve seen teams that have been really good in November that have been terrible at the end of the year.
