The White House released the results of President Donald Trump’s MRI on Monday after weeks of speculation about why he received the scan in the first place.
Trump told reporters on Air Force One on Sunday that he would release the MRI results after being pressed about the scan for weeks. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt read the results of the MRI scan from Trump’s physician during the press briefing on Monday.
The letter , signed by White House physician Sean Barbabella, said that the MRI was a preventative measure to evaluate the president’s cardiovascular and abdominal health.
