COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Gas prices took a significant dip in the Midlands over the past week.
According to Gasbuddy.com, the price at the pump dropped by more than 9 cents, bringing the average for a gallon of regular to $2.62 a gallon.
Among the factors causing the overall decline: lower crude oil costs, record oil production in the U.S., and improvements made to refinery outputs.
