ANACORTES, Wash. — An Anacortes teacher was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Monday morning, according to the Anacortes School District.
Edmundo Corrales, a 36-year-old Spanish teacher at Anacortes High School, died on Dec. 1, the district announced.
“Señor Corrales was a dedicated educator whose warmth, humor, and passion for teaching touched the lives of countless students and colleagues,” the district said in a statement. “His commitment to helping students grow academically and personally made him an irreplaceable part of our school community.”
The deadly crash occurred just after 7 a.m. along state Route 20 near North Dewey Beach Drive on Monday morning.
