ST. LOUIS (First Alert 4) - More than six months after the May 16 tornado, many homes across St. Louis are still in need of repair.
Baron Johnson and his wife are still waiting for construction crews to start work on repairing their home that was damaged in the May 16 tornado, when Johnson said the house next door fell on his.
“How much more damage do I have to go through,” Johnson said.
The rain and snow, Johnson said, is only making problems worse.
“My kids have to empty this every day. It’s still getting through my floors. My basement was redone. Not anymore. All the ceiling is on the floor. That’s the impact after the storm,” Johnson said.
Johnson said he got a second tarp to put on his roof to try to prevent more damage. As snow continues to fall, Johnson said he’s concerned.
