FAYETTEVILLE — Little Rock Central 4-star defensive lineman Anthony Kennedy Jr. committed to Arkansas on Monday.

Kennedy, 6-4 and 334 pounds, committed to Miami in June but recently reopened his recruitment. He has offers from Arkansas, Miami, Missouri, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Oklahoma, Purdue, Auburn and numerous others.

ESPN rates him a 4-star recruit, the nation’s No. 33 defensive tackle and the No. 5 prospect in Arkansas. He had 61 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, 14 quarterback pressures and 2 forced fumbles this season for the Tigers.

He became the fourth in-state prospect to commit to Silverfield on Monday, joining Cross County defensive lineman Danny Beale, Bryant linebacker Jakore Smith and Bryant running back TJ Hodges.
