As if a $91 million contract from the LSU Tigers wasn’t generous enough, Lane Kiffin stands to earn even more money if the Ole Miss Rebels do well in the College Football Playoff.

After weeks of speculation about his future, Lane Kiffin decided to accept a seven-year, $91 million offer from the LSU Tigers. His hiring comes just a few short weeks after LSU fired head coach Brian Kelly, who received a giant $54 million buyout package.

With Kiffin gone, Rebels defensive coordinator and inside linebackers coach Pete Golding has been promoted to the HC position. The Rebels finished 11-1 in the regular season and will be one of 12 teams to compete for the national championship in the College Football Playoff.
