More details are emerging about the events that led to the deadly shooting of an 18-year-old employee at a Burger King on the Westside.

According to an arrest report obtained by News4JAX, the accused shooter, identified as 28-year-old Dawud Burritt, was at the Burger King when 33-year-old Ray Cummings, a former friend and restaurant employee, approached him.

Cummings, who was wounded in the shooting, was interviewed by police at Orange Park Medical Center, according to the report.

He told investigators that he and Burritt had a falling out about a year ago after an eight-year friendship, but said he did not currently have any issues with him, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
