PASADENA, Calif. (KABC) -- The Pazmino Family lost everything in the Eaton Fire, but on Monday, they have a place to call home thanks to the generosity of a local community organization.
After months of uncertainty and struggling to begin their recovery, the Pazmino Family is moving into a new apartment, new furnishings included.
The organization that helped them is the legacy of the late actor Paul Walker, who founded it 15 years ago.
"Walked into Reach Out Worldwide," said Annemarie Pazmino. "I didn't know what the store was, and he was like, 'Are you an Eaton survivor?' and I said, 'Yes.'"
Reach Out Worldwide is a disaster relief organization founded by the late actor. The organization has serviced more than 2,000 families since the Eaton and Palisades fires. Now, with IKEA, they'
