BLACK HAWK COUNTY, Iowa — Voters in Black Hawk County are preparing to head to the polls for Tuesday's runoff elections, where they will decide three significant races.
In both Waterloo and Cedar Falls, city council seats are up for grabs, alongside the mayoral race in Waterloo. Incumbent Quentin Hart is vying for reelection against City Councilor Dave Boesen.
Despite recent snowfall, Black Hawk County Auditor Karen Showalter expressed confidence in voter turnout for these important elections.
The final day for early voting concluded with around 2,700 votes cast. On election day, polls will be open at 10 voting centers from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
