A man has been charged with manslaughter after a deadly assault in Norwood, Massachusetts, over the weekend.

Isaiah Pierre-Mike, 19, is accused of killing 25-year-old Anton C. Dowling in an incident on Hoyle Street Saturday, according to the Norfolk County District Attorney's Office. Dowling suffered fatal injuries from a sharp object, officials said.

Pierre-Mike will be arraigned on charges of manslaughter and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on Tuesday in Dedham District Court.

Few other details were immediately available. Police have not said what led up to the attack or if the two men knew each other. Local police said there is no cause for the public to be alarmed for their own safety.
