DETROIT — Only Duncan Robinson could claim that he started all of the Detroit Pistons’ first 20 games this season.
While other starters on the team around him missed time to injury, Robinson played the role of the iron man, getting an expanded role and playing a feature part in Detroit’s hot start to the season.
But now, his streak of starts is coming to an end as he will miss Monday night’s game against the Atlanta Hawks due to a right ankle sprain.
He was listed as questionable leading up to the game and was seen working in the weight room during shoot around Monday morning. However, he won’t be available for the game and two-way guard Daniss Jenkins will draw the start, his fifth of the season.
Coach J.B. Bickerstaff confirmed the sprain happened during the Pistons’ last game on Sat
