A Syracuse television station is being disrupted by a planned change in its call letters and channel position.

CNY Central’s WTVH CBS 5 changed its call letters on Monday, Dec. 1, becoming WKOF CBS 5. The TV station the move would be “seamless” for viewers who watch via cable, satellite or streaming services like YouTube TV , Hulu + Live TV , Sling , and DirecTV Stream.

However, the transition hasn’t been perfect for all viewers. CNY Central said Monday afternoon that it was aware some viewers are having issues accessing the new WKOF signal.

On Verizon FiOS, cable subscribers could see the correct picture, but the program guide was incorrect. A FiOS user told syracuse.com that he spent two hours on the phone with Verizon support and still couldn’t access WKOF-TV.
