SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - As Cyber Monday wraps up, local small businesses in the Shreveport-Bossier area are finding ways to compete with major retailers through online deals and personalized customer service.

Lauren Bamberg and Tracy Barringer, current and former owners of Give Me 3 gift store in Bossier City, said they prepare for Cyber Monday year-round.

“Yes, we start buying for Black Friday and Cyber Monday all year long. We start planning for it all year long. We try to really find things where the deals fit the margin and really help us in the profits, but also helps our community save money because Christmas is expensive,” Barringer said.
