Worker killed, impaled by fence after falling during tree trimming operation in Canoga Park, LAFD says

CANOGA PARK, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A worker was killed when he was impaled by an iron fence after falling during a tree trimming operation in Canoga Park Monday afternoon, authorities said.

The incident was reported just before 3:20 p.m. in the 7400 block of Canoga Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Fire officials said the man fell from a tree and landed on the fence. The worker was pronounced dead at the scene.
